Dr. Russell Mann

Dr. Russell Mann graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and has proudly owned and operated Mann Family Dental in Manchester, New Hampshire for over 20 years. With more than three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Mann has built his practice around one simple philosophy: take the time to truly know your patients, and never rush their care. He personally calls every new patient before their first visit because he believes trust should start before you ever sit in the chair.

Dr. Mann has completed extensive advanced training with some of the most respected names in dentistry. He earned the prestigious Diplomat Award, the highest honor offered by the International Dental Implant Association, after completing Dr. Arun Garg's full Implant Seminars curriculum, including three dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He also trained at the renowned Pikos Institute under Dr. Michael Pikos and studied soft tissue and bone grafting techniques at the Medical University of South Carolina. Additionally, Dr. Mann holds certifications in oral conscious sedation and IV sedation through DOCS Education. He continues to pursue over 100 hours of continuing education each year, staying current with the latest techniques and technology including 3D Cone Beam imaging for precise implant planning.

Outside the office, Dr. Mann lives locally with his wife, Kelly. He enjoys fishing, hiking, reading about early American history, and cheering on the Boston Celtics. He's also passionate about business and loves spending time with his wife and children. That same warmth and genuine curiosity he brings to his personal life is exactly what patients experience when they walk through our doors.

Do you accept my dental insurance?

We work with all insurance plans. While we're not locked into any insurance network, we submit all your paperwork for you, follow up on claims, and help you get every dollar you're entitled to — your reimbursement comes directly to you. If you don't have insurance, our Mann Plan membership includes cleanings, exams, x-rays, and discounts on treatments like implants and crowns. I'm nervous about going to the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely! and you're not alone. Many of our patients feel the same way, and helping anxious patients is one of the things we do best. From the moment you walk in, everything is designed to help you feel calm, a spa-like waiting room, blankets, Netflix in the treatment rooms, and a team that never rushes you. We also offer sedation options, from oral sedation for mild anxiety to IV sedation for more complex cases. Fear doesn't have to keep you from getting healthy.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first appointment is about getting to know you, not just your teeth. Plan for about 90 minutes to two hours. We'll take 3D scans and digital x-rays (all included, no surprise costs), and Dr. Mann will sit down with you to understand your concerns, your goals, and what brought you in. You'll leave with a clear picture of your oral health and a personalized plan with zero pressure. And here's something that surprises most people: Dr. Mann personally calls new patients before their first visit just to welcome you.

I've been told I don't have enough bone for dental implants. Is that true?

Maybe - but we'd encourage you to get a second opinion. Dr. Mann hears this often, and many times those patients were told that without ever having a 3D scan to see what bone is actually there. Even when bone is limited, options like bone grafting or sinus lifts can make implants possible. Dr. Mann has hundreds of hours of advanced training in implant surgery and can show you exactly what's possible using our cone beam imaging. If you want implants, you deserve to know all your options.

Do you offer same-day dental crowns?

Yes! We use CEREC technology to design and create your crown right here in our office in a single visit. You get numb once, Dr. Mann preps and scans your tooth, and while you relax with a blanket and Netflix, your permanent crown is made on-site.
